# How Do I Change My NCOPE Tracker Password?

***This method works for residents, directors, and mentors. Please note your navigation bar at the top of the screen may look different depending on your role.***

  If your account is active and you can log in to NCOPE Tracker successfully, click on your name at the top right-hand corner and then select profile.  ![](https://ncope.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/NCOPE-Tracker-PW-Change-Click-Name-and-Profile.png)

From within the profile, you will see two prompts: 'Password' and 'Confirm Password' which allow you to set a new password.  It must contact 1 capital letter, 1 lower-case letter, 1 number, 1 symbol, and be at least 10 characters long.

Once you have entered a password that meets the requirements defined above, please scroll down and select 'Update' or if you wish to cancel changing the password, click the 'Close' button instead.
