who received their orthotist\/prosthetist training outside of the US have registered and completed an NCOPE Accredited residency program and subsequently sought US-based certification via <a href=\"https:\/\/abcop.org\">ABC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;3_5,2_5&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.25.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;3_5&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.25.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.25.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]To assist persons who earned their orthotist\/prosthetist degree outside of the United States, NCOPE has created a resource page to provide guidance about the education requirements and links to services, including the World <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wes.org\/partners\/wes-evaluation-reports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Education Service (WES)<\/a> for degree evaluations and the <a href=\"https:\/\/travel.state.gov\/content\/travel\/en\/us-visas.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">US Department of State<\/a> for information on obtaining a VISA for persons who are not US Citizens.<\/p>\n<p><em>Please note that NCOPE cannot sponsor visas for persons who are not US citizens and sponsorship must be facilitated through the residency program sponsor
