Research<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The\u00a0Fall Mentored Pilot Grant\u00a0<\/strong>program awards (1) one year grants of\u00a0$5,000<\/strong> intended to help trainees (e.g., masters\/doctoral students, orthotics and prosthetics residents) or orthotics and prosthetics clinicians to complete a research project with the guidance of an experienced research mentor.<\/p>\n

Program opens<\/strong>\u00a0September 1st |\u00a0Letter of Intent due<\/strong>\u00a0by October 6th |\u00a0Proposal due<\/strong> by November 3rd, 2025<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Fall Microgrants\u00a0<\/strong>program awards (2) one-year grants of\u00a0$2,000<\/strong> to support clinically relevant activities and projects. These microgrants aim to empower health professionals, researchers, students, and residents to pursue projects and activities that may contribute to clinical care in O&P. This program awards biannually, once in the Spring and once in the Fall and are based on the scholarly merit and clinical relevance of the proposed activity\/project.<\/p>\n

Program opens<\/strong>\u00a0September 1st and\u00a0<\/span>closes<\/strong> on October 6th, 2025<\/span><\/p>\n

The O&P Foundation is launching the new\u00a0Fuel the Future of O&P Scholarship<\/strong> program this year!<\/p>\n

This program awards (5)\u00a0$20,000<\/strong> scholarships annually to support and recognize incredible O&P clinical Masters students, designed to fuel the future of the O&P profession.<\/p>\n

Program opens<\/strong>\u00a0August 25th and\u00a0closes<\/strong> on September 22nd, 2025<\/span><\/p>\n

Professional Awards<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Carlton Fillauer Award for Outstanding Contribution to Prosthetic Science and Practice<\/strong>, sponsored by the Fillauer family, recognizes prosthetists and\/or orthotists who have actively contributed to and significantly impacted clinical care, research, and scientific dissemination in the prosthetics specialty. In addition to receiving the prestigious recognition of the Carlton Fillauer Award, recipients will receive a $5,000<\/strong> unrestricted cash award.<\/p>\n
