Susan Spaulding, MS, CPO will serve as the chair of the NCOPE board of directors for a two-year term. Prior to assuming the chair position, Susan developed and chaired the NCOPE Accreditation Committee, oversaw the revision and updates of the NCOPE Accreditation Manual, and coordinated the development of the Online Site Visitor training modules. Susan serves as a faculty member at the University of Washington where she focuses on didactic and laboratory training of students enrolled in the Master’s in Prosthetics & Orthotics program. Some of her academic accolades include coordinating the Orthotic/Prosthetic Educators Network (OPEN) and receiving the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists Distinguished Educator Award in 2018.
