The National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE) is currently soliciting nominations for a Class 1 representative to serve on the Board of Directors that will open in January 2027. In accordance with our bylaws, this position is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Certified orthotists and/or prosthetists who are in good standing with the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC), and whose practice is a member of the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA), or if the individual is a member of the Academy.
We encourage nominations from professionals who are passionate about advancing orthotic and prosthetic education and who bring diverse perspectives to our governance. The selected nominee will serve a three-year term and contribute to the strategic direction and oversight of NCOPE’s accreditation and educational initiatives.
