1 Site - Orthotic & Prosthetic Residency

Residents that pursue a 2-site pathway will be eligible for a certificate of O&P residency completion after meeting all requirements in both orthotic and prosthetic practice. No certificate of completion is awarded to residents after concluding training at the initial site.

Program Accreditation Fees
Initial Application for Accreditation
Sites new to NCOPE or have inactive accreditation cycles

- Accreditation recognition for 3 years if the application is approved
Continuing Accreditation
Sites renewing active accreditation cycles
$630/application
- All administrative expenses due to NCOPE for the residency program
- Application review
- Access to NCOPE Tracker for the Program Director and Primary Mentors
- Access to the OPRESCAS WebAdMIT system
- Accreditation recognition for 3 years if the application is approved
Application for Affiliate Locations
Sites within 50 miles of the primary residency site
$75/site
- All administrative expenses due to NCOPE for the residency program
- Application review
Application for Add-On Discipline
Orthotics, Prosthetics, OR Combined O&P
$300/application
- Affiliate sites can be added on this application
- All administrative expenses due to NCOPE for the residency program
- Application review
- This fee is not assessed if additional disciplines are identified at the time of the renewal or initial application
Other Fees

Resident registration payment must be received no later than 60 days after the residency start date to avoid a late fee. For site application fees, a late fee applies when payment is 60 or more days past due. The late fee is $50 under the current schedule and $52 under the 2027 schedule.

The person completing the Residency Program Application Form or Resident Registration Form will automatically be provided the information below at the time of form completion.
