The students at Bluegrass Community Technical College (BCTC) are learning to fabricate, fit, and maintain prosthetic and orthotic devices. BCTC is currently seeking candidacy recognition and once successful will become one of only six orthotic & prosthetic technician programs in the US. Fox56 had the chance to connect with the faculty and students at BCTC and discuss how O&P technicians empower persons with amputations and neuromuscular impairments. Interested in more information?
