The following set of CAAHEP Standards is open for public comment from September 4 through October 5, 2026.
As part of the CAAHEP Standards development process, the National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education (NCOPE) is inviting public comments on the proposed CAAHEP Standards and Guidelines for the Accreditation of Educational Programs for Orthotic & Prosthetic Technicians. An open hearing on the Orthotic and Prosthetic Technicians Standards will be held on October 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM Eastern.
