One of the goals at NCOPE is to introduce O&P technician students to O&P practices that are outside of the city/state where the student attends school and to help employers introduce their practice to these students. To satisfy this goal, we created the Employer Meet & Greet (EMG) sessions.
The EMG sessions are offered 2-3 times each month (fall, winter, spring) via a Zoom call to the students enrolled in the four technology programs with a presentation by a new employer at each session. The EMG sessions are a great way to introduce a practice to graduating O&P tech students seeking employment.
