Our academic institution has decided that we would like to move forward with hosting an accredited orthotic / prosthetic education program. What is the first step we need to complete with NCOPE?

The first step for any new emerging orthotic, prosthetic, and pedorthic academic program is for the program to complete a Request for Candidate Status (RCS) to notify the NCOPE staff and accreditation committee. Once the RCS form has been received, the developing program's primary contact will be granted access to the accreditation management portal to enable submission of the Application for Candidacy Status (ACS).
