The Resident is Trying to Register to Start my Residency, But I Cannot Find the Residency Site in the NCOPE Directory, What is Wrong?

< 1 min read

The NCOPE Residency Site Directory is updated nightly, and the refresh is completed by 8 AM Eastern each day.  If a site is not listed, there are two likely reasons:

1) The specific office identified may be a satellite location of a nearby primary site owned by the same company.  Make sure you are registering the primary location (it will be within a 75-mile radius of the satellite office).

2) The residency site accreditation has expired, and the program director has not submitted a renewal application on time.  The program director can identify when the accreditation expired by viewing the certificate of accreditation provided at the time it was approved or by reviewing the email sent by the NCOPE Staff identifying the most recent application approval.

The program director can learn about seeking program accreditation and access the application for accreditation by CLICKING HERE.
